Peter Philips - Make Up Artist

Belgian makeup artist Peter Philips is widely recognised as a creative leader in the field of high fashion makeup. Currently the global creative director for Chanel Makeup, he was responsible for the controversial hand painted tattoos seen on the S/S 2010 runway.

He originally studied graphic design (I love him more already) before moving to Antwerp’s Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts. Since the he has become known for his innovative use of materials, surprising influences and radical ideas. Go Peter!
